Monat Renew Shampoo & Monat Intense Repair Treatment Conditioner.
A couple of months ago I was contacted by Sheryl Sledgers from Monat. She asked me if I would be interested in trying the monat shampoo line. I accepted her gift and now here I am sharing my experience with you.
Honestly I had never heard about Monat before. I was a little skeptical about trying the products because I did not know what would happen. I was a little scared to try a new shampoo since my hair is very delicate. A million thoughts crossed my mind, but in the end I decided to go for it. When I tried the products to my surprise they actually did a pretty good job.
Monat products are naturally based, 100% vegan, & cruelty free. Monat products are free of phthalates, PEG, DEA/MEA, Sulfates, Parabens, Harsh Salt Systems, Harmful Colors, and Harmful Fragrances.
Monat Renew Shampoo (Infused with / AVEC REJUVENIQUE)
This shampoo moisturizes, shines, and strengthens hair. The shampoo has a herbal minty smell and has different instructions to followed compared to other shampoos. You must massage throughout wet hair and scalp and live it on for 2 - 3 minutes. You must then rinse thoroughly and repeat the steps a second time. The bottle also says that for the best results you must use daily and follow with MONAT Replenish Mask.
After a couple of days using this shampoo I notice how much my hair started to grow. This shampoo for some reason not only strengthens your hair, but it also makes it grow like crazy. So if you want your hair to grow at a faster rate this would be a great shampoo for you. Ever since I stopped using the shampoo I noticed my hair started to grow more slowly again. (Note, the only reason I stopped using the shampoo was because I runned out.) In conclusion the MONAT shampoos are great and worth their price. I only had a little problem, which was that it made my scalp a little greasy. I have a very greasy scalp and if I don't choose the right shampoo it gets even more greasy. But this was my fault because I should have chosen a shampoo that was specially for greasy scalps. They have shampoos for everything so I'm sure they have one for my greasy scalp too. They even have shampoos for your pets.
Monat Intense Repair Treatment Conditioner (Infused with / AVEC)
This conditioner helps reduce premature thinning while boosting strength and vitality. The conditioner has a strong delicious minty smell. After shampooing your hair you remove all excess water and massage into hair and scalp. The conditioner lives your hair feeling soft and fresh. I still have half a bottle of the conditioner because a little goes a long way. I actually did not follow the directions from the bottle for the conditioner, because I only like using it in my ends. Like I said before my scalp is very greasy and putting it in my scalp would be the worst of the ideas. Actually the conditioner is my favorite because it leaves my hair smelling minty fresh and leaves super soft.
In conclusion this products are great and really make big changes to your hair. It really helped my hair become healthier and longer. That is why I will tell you this, "If you are looking for a product that will renew and repair your hair and also want to grow your hair at a faster rate MONAT is the perfect product for you!!"
The below pictures can give you an idea of how my hair changed through the last months. The picture in the right was before using MONAT. My hair was shorter and a bit dry from all the red hair dye. The middle picture is while using Monat (my hair looks much longer there). While the picture on the left is my hair at the end of my MONAT journey. My hair ended longer, healthier, and stronger!!!
